Shipping Water Selling Machine

To further enhance the service of selling fresh water to replenish ships, WSD set up a new automatic shipping water selling machine at the Tuen Mun Water Selling Kiosk.  The machine provides 24-hour automatic water selling service, marking a new milestone for the automation of selling water to ships for better convenience of marine workers to replenish fresh water anytime.

How to Use

Those who would like to use the machine should prepare the followings:-

• An octopus card with sufficient funds balance. Top-up by cash is not available at the machine;
• A camera or a mobile phone with camera function to record the transaction record; and
• An appropriate fitting to connect the water outlet. The machine is equipped with water outlets of one-inch, two-inch and three-inch.  Person who would like to purchase fresh water from the machine should prepare a camlock coupler (female) or screwed joint (female) that correspond to the available size.

The machine accepts Octopus payments at this stage.  Other electronic payment means will be added to facilitate procurement of fresh water by customers efficiently through various convenient means.
