Building Rehabilitation Assistance Schemes applicable to Maintenance of Internal Water Supply System
Whenever Owners' Corporations / Owners' Organisations / Owners intend to carry out maintenance or improvement works of internal water supply systems for their properties, they could join the “Integrated Building Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme” of Urban Renewal Authority (URA) and apply for associated loan and subsidy. The integrated assistance includes:
- Common Area Repair Works Subsidy (administered by URA)
To provide assistance and subsidy to Owners’ Corporations / Owners’ Organisations / Owners to carry out comprehensive building maintenance works, including common internal water supply systems.
- Home Renovation Interest-free Loan (administered by URA)
To provide interest-free loan to individual owners to carry out flat interior repairs and maintenance works of internal water pipes of the flat.
- Building Safety Loan Scheme (administered by Buildings Department)
To provide low interest loan to individual owners to carry out maintenance and repair works of internal water supply systems in common and private areas of a building, no matter voluntarily or in compliance with statutory orders.
- Building Maintenance Grant Scheme for Needy Owners (administered by URA)
To provide financial assistance to needy owner-occupiers to subsidise the costs of repairs and maintenance of their self-occupied properties in order to alleviate building dilapidation and to enhance building safety.
