22 March of each year is the World Water Day, designated by the United Nations; WSD published a newspaper supplement on the day. In 2014, the United Nations defines the theme of the World Water Day as Water and Energy, with a view to enhancing the global citizens' awareness of water-energy nexus as well as water conservation and energy saving.
