Invited by WSD, Yuen Long District Council Chairman Shum Ho-kit and Assistant District Officer (Yuen Long) of the Home Affairs Department Steve Wong led a party of Yuen Long District Councillors and Home Affairs Department staff to visit Ngau Tam Mei Water Treatment Works on 18 September 2017. Guided tours were specially arranged on that day for the guests to tour around the Water Treatment Works and to understand more about the advanced technologies applied in the process of raw water treatment and water quality monitoring. After the guided tours, the Director of Water Supplies Enoch Lam and WSD staff discussed and exchanged opinions with the guests about water supplies.
