In order to enhance the public’s understanding of the floating solar power systems installed at Shek Pik Reservoir and Plover Cove Reservoir, WSD set up an exhibition booth at the “Eco Expo Asia 2017” held from 26-29 October 2017 to explain to the public the details of this pilot scheme. Display boards and an interactive touch panel were installed at the exhibition booth to give thorough explanations to the public in a simple way for the advantages of the System, including reducing carbon emission, suppressing algae growth and saving land resources.
