Water Supplies Department set up an exhibition booth at the “InnoCarnival 2018” organized by the Innovation & Technology Commission from 3-11 November 2018. A pilot system – “Smart Asset Management” aiming at integrating Building Information Model of pumping stations and asset management system was introduced in the event. By adding the “smart” element to the system, real-time data of water pumps could be automatically retrieved to facilitate and coordinate maintenance decisions to be made by various parties.
