WSD holds a water supplies seminar annually to exchange views and ideas with customers on its services and operations.
This year the seminar took place at the Y-Theatre of Youth Square, Chai Wan on 8 June 2010 (Tuesday). In the welcoming speech, Mr. MA Lee Tak, Director of Water Supplies, appealed to the audience to conserve water and help convey the message to others. Four presentations on various topics were given in the seminar. The champion property management agent of the "Water Saving Competition 2009", organised by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management Hong Kong (CIWEM) and supported by the Water Supplies Department, was invited to share the initiatives taken to promote water conservation in its housing estate.
