On-line Public Forums

Details of the on-line public forums are as follows. Please pay attention to this page and the ‘What’s New’ Section in the WSD website for any latest news about the forums.

Registration Method

• Members of the public who would like to attend the forums may make reservation on or before 4 December 2020 by sending emails to LR_consultation@wsd.gov.hk.
• Please provide your name in the email and indicate which forum to be attended in the email subject (e.g. ‘The Second Forum (English) Registration’). 
• The WSD will reply your email whether the reservation is successful or not within 3 working days.

Arrangements Under Special Circumstances

The forums may be postponed if special circumstances (e.g. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, “extreme conditions after super typhoons” announced by the Government, etc.) occur on the day of the forums. Details will be announced before 10:00am on the date of the forums.

Response to Consultation Paper

Members of the public are welcome to send their written views on the proposed amendments to the Waterworks Ordinance to the Water Supplies Department by post, e-mail or fax on or before 3 February 2021.
