After completion, the asset information contained in the as-built BIM models would be used for facility management including operation and scheduling of future maintenance which optimise cost and efficiency. The adoption of BIM360 as the Common Data Environment (CDE) has fostered crossdiscipline, cross-region team collaboration to achieve approval of major design works within a swift period of 18 months, including the input sought from stakeholders outside the project team comprising designers, design checkers, as well as subcontractors, sub-consultants and suppliers in order to meet the concerted goal of completing the project on time.
