智能水錶系統 為向公眾推廣節約用水和智慧生活,我們自二零一八年起於新 建公營及私人發展項目中引入了有線智能水錶系統(前稱自動 讀錶系統)。智能水錶系統的客戶能透過智能水錶流動應用程 式遙距監察用水量。鑑於安裝有線智能水錶系統需要較大的空 間和網絡設備,無線智能水錶系統因而被視為在本地大部分現 有建築物中更為可行和效率較高。 為使現有樓宇客戶能夠使用智能水錶系統,二零二二年我們已 於大澳順利完成試點計劃,將漁村棚屋、村屋、公共屋邨及政 府設施的傳統機械水錶更換成無線智能水錶。我們目前正進行 為各類現有樓宇安裝無線智能水錶的可行性研究,以制定日後 的推行策略。 Advanced Metering Infrastructure To promote water saving and smart living in the community, we have introduced wired Advanced Metering Infrastructure (formerly known as Automatic Meter Reading) system in new public and private developments since 2018. Customers of AMI can remotely monitor their water consumption by using the mobile app of the smart meter. As the installation of wired AMI involves the provision of more space and network facilities, wireless AMI systems are therefore considered to be more feasible and efficient in most existing buildings in Hong Kong. With a view to extending the use of AMI to existing premises, a pilot trial was successfully conducted in 2022 at Tai O comprising fishermen’s huts, villages houses, public housing estates and government facilities to convert traditional mechanical water meters into wireless smart water meters.
