We have developed an integrated Drinking Water Quality Management System to manage water quality from sources to consumers’ taps and ensure that the quality fully complies with the Hong Kong Drinking Water Standards (HKDWS) for the protection of public health. In addition, we have established the Surveillance List, the Watch List, as well as the Aesthetic Guidelines for comprehensive monitoring of the drinking water quality in Hong Kong.
